30th  April 2020
Dear John,
Thank you very much for your letter. I am very much pleased to know that you are interested and curious to know about our local festivals. I am going to give a brief introduction to one of the local festivals, hoping that you will be excited to know about it.
There are many local festivals observed in our community. Among them Holi is one. This is called the festival of colour. It is celebrated on the Fagu Purnima. It is also one of the greatest and beautiful festivals for the Hindus. It is celebrated with greater enthusiasm in the Terai. In this festival people put coloured water and red powder on one another and children enjoy by throwing the coloured water at others. People enjoy a lot in this festival by beating drums and singing songs. They go from one house to another and wish for the happiness and prosperity of the house owner in their songs. In this way, people enjoy this festival very much here. I have tried to write in short about this local festival. Please write me about your local festival too.
With best regards,
Laxman

Dear Rohan,
I received your letter but it made me rather disappointed; you have written that you failed your last examinations and you have decided to quit studies. It's a great mistake; it is just an escape that brings no good solution at all. I think you worked hard and did not do anything which would result into failure. It is only your bad luck which has played its part.
Failure is the mother of success. Treat this failure just as a minor setback in your attempts and continue your studies. Next time you will be crowned with success. Take King Prithvi Narayan's activities for inspiration. He was not discouraged at the first defeat at Nuwakot but learned lesson from the defeat for victory. Ultimately he enjoyed success. It was same in Kirtipur victory too. He attacked 3 times and finally he was able to get success to unified it in Nepal. I suggest you to follow his footsteps.
Hoping all the best for your next result!
Loving,
Bimal

Dear Sarina,
I am very excited to tell you about my travel plan for the holidays. I have made a plan to go to Pokhara with my parents. I will spend a week there. I have never been there but I have heard a lot about it. I will go boating on Phewatal and visit the Mahendra Cave and Davis Falls. I will go on a trekking to see beautiful sites as well. I hope the weather will be fine. I will take photograph of the places wherever I go for memory. I will show them to you. And how about you Saajan ? What are you going to do during holidays ? Please don't forget to write me. Let me write you again after I return.
With best regards,
Luza

30th april 2020
Dear Prasiddhi,
I got and studied your progress report. It speaks of your poor performance in your First Terminal Examination. It is the beginning of your academic year and your first board examination. Your results are extremely painful. I can't make out precisely the cause of your performance. What about your hopes and time to find out your weak points in every subject. Have courage and do not be dismayed. Work hard. Give extra time to your studies. You can take more time in the mornings by rising earlier. Revise your lessons thoroughly. Practice all important questions again. Consult your teachers, friends, and better students. Be dedicated to your work and avoid the company of all bad friends. They bring a bad name for their school, parents and society. So grip up your bad habits and ideas. Be hopeful and stand upright and show the best results in your next terminals. 'Failure is a step towards success.' Nothing is impossible and everything is possible. be brave, Keep it up!
Your loving sister,
Kritika

Thanks for your letter and the question you asked about my plans for the next twelve months for the comparison with your plans. Without wandering here and there, I would like to go your point.
This year I will be engaged well. Probably I will have hardly any spare time that I can pass with you. However, I hope you will not mind of being away from you. I assure you this will be last year to live away from you. In the beginning of the new-year, we will be together forever.

In Dashain, I will have to go to Mumbai, where my, where my elder father and mother live and work. They have invited me for a long time to be with them.       Dear Dad,
I received your letter, yesterday. Thank you very much for your wishes. I have felt sad for your absence in marriage. I am hopeful of your arrival in the evening party on 10th January.
As you have asked what things you should present me, I am very confused. I have needed a television set that can have many channels. I hope it will be colour television that gives the picture more clearly and runs with the remote controller. It will be 42 inch in size and rectangular in shape. It is black in outlook color. I can wake morning with soft and sweet music. I do hope, will have beautiful sense on it If you have not got it also, you can bring a fan for summer. You can bring any fan: table fan or ceiling fan as you like. But you will bring the medium type fan that is portable and easy to handle. If possible or you get, please the fan with the remote controller. I hope I have listed these three things. You can bring anyone as you like or available in the market.
At last, I do hope you will come in our party.
          Yours lovely,
          Mohan
