2. Supporting Sentences: These sentences provide details, examples, explanations, or evidence that support the topic sentence. They help to develop the main idea and make it clearer.

3. Concluding Sentence: This is the final sentence of the paragraph, which summarizes the main idea or provides a closing thought. It helps to bring the paragraph to a logical end.

4. Unity: The paragraph should focus on one main idea. All the sentences should relate to and support the topic sentence.

5. Coherence: The ideas in the paragraph should be organized logically and flow smoothly from one sentence to the next. Using transitional words and phrases can help achieve coherence.

Steps for Writing a Paragraph:

1. Prewriting: Brainstorm ideas and choose a topic. Plan the structure of the paragraph and decide what supporting details to include.
